Superior Mirage & Its Dirty Little SECRET

A superior mirage MUST have light strike the ORIGINAL light source in order to produce the Superior mirage. In other words, if you claim a distant object is a superior mirage, then the ORIGINAL object is also there. It has to be for the physics of light to have something to “work with”. Unless tricks are used, you will never see a superior mirage without its original source object being visible. This same principle can be applied to refraction as a whole and this principle will become more important shortly in coming videos.

Is this boat floating in mid-air? (No, but scientists who have no clue will tell you it is really an iullusion caught on video)
