Filmed with the Nikon P1000 on 10-30-2018. I shot this from a low perspective. I also did another one I’ll be uploading where I was even lower to compare this one with. Getting lower to the water makes it harder to see because of the angular resolution and if there are waves the camera will resolve the closer waves that can and will block out objects even if the visibility is good. I will be continuing to lower my camera as the visibility here in Florida gets better but I also need calm water and less evaporation rate over the water. Like I said if there are waves the camera will only pick up the waves that are resolvable anything past that will will only appear to be getting blocked out.
