I have seen a lot of videos and photos of petrified objects.

But no one gives an explanation to how a living thing becomes petrified?

And I have come to an idea that radiation might be the reason for that.

What if some time ago there was very harsh radioactive environment that causes living things to petrify?

And later a mudflood was organized to fill the radioactive area with layer of mud to dampen down the radiation.
