Once an Albatross leaves it’s nest it stays at sea most of its life.

The circumnavigation studies for the Albatross are taken with the ball model in mind, of course.

They conclude that over a sabbatical year the Albatross will circumnavigate the earth 2-3 times soaring over 120,000 km.
