This might give others some ideas on how to film over long distances using the Night Sky time lapse mode on your Nikon P900. This was just a test for me and I have plans on doing a long time lapse across Tampa Bay to the Sunshine Sky Way Bridge. It will be from a distance of 18 miles. After that I’ll look for a place to do even further distances. The beacon lights I claim these to be has to be correct or either I’m picking some up that are even further away. I’m positive that they are but there is a problem with the cutters rock light. It says that it flashes 6 times but at such a long distance it’s hard to tell but it could also mean that it flashes after every 6 seconds and that is what I think it means.
