Moon Temperature Test (#3) – Measuring & Control Details

Moon Temperature Test (#3) – Measuring & Control Details – this is the third in a series describing the set-up details for a scientifically controlled moonlight temperature test to be performed in Tempe, AZ on 11/11/2019. Please see the other two videos in this playlist before watching this video. Please see the following link for the playlist which begins this series.

The moon’s temperature has been measured by MANY to be, on average, about 2°F cooler than in non-moonlit areas on the same night. It has been argued that either good controls, or the scientific method, or a contaminated environment or environmental conditions (or all of the above) are what is responsible for the consistent lower temperature readings when moonlight is measured in comparison to non moon lit surfaces. This experiment is designed to use the scientific method, calibrated equipment, and controls which will leave no doubt as to whether moonlight is indeed “cold”. This test is expected to be performed at 03:30 UTC on 11/12/2019. Please stay tuned for updates and additional information.
