I hope everything is going okay for you and your family.
On Sunday morning at about 2:00 am I had a tire blow out on the highway passing through NC, about 100 miles away from the Convention. I was hoping to make it there for the last day of events, but unfortunately I ended up having to wait on a tow truck to get my car. When the tire blew out it bent my axle, so I had to wait on it to come out of the shop.
We were okay after the blow out, thank God, but it was very frightening, as you can imagine. Thanks so much for your prayers and support.

At this point, we’re in a very precarious situation, 1000 miles from where we have called home for the last two years. I’m really scared as I’m not sure what we’re going to do. In hindsight, I probably should have just stayed in Kansas, but I really wanted to make it to flattober fest.
