Going back through and reviewing my observations I’ve noticed I had caught a new Beacon light that is over 6 miles away. I also have some other footage that proves to myself that I’m seeing way to far if the earth were a globe.
Visibility is the key because the better the visibility the better the angular resolution. Our visibility limits dictates our angular resolution limits.
The weather conditions effects our visibility limits but when we have good conditions we are able to see objects that we are told are below the curvature of earth. This footage IMHO proves there is no curvature and it is not refraction pulling anything up it’s just an excellent day of visibility.
